The International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) will organize the 16th World Congress on Pain from 26 September to 1 October 2016 in Yokohama, Japan. This biennial congress will cover a wide range of pain-related topics, including cancer pain, post-operative pain and latest in pharmacologic pain management.

The International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) will host the 16th World Congress on Pain from 26 September – 1 October 2016 in Yokohama, Japan. This biennial congress will attract more than 5,000 pain specialists from all over the world. Providing the latest research and data on a wide range of pain-related topics, the World Congress is the seminal event in the field for neuroscientists and neurologists, anesthesiologists and pain physicians, and the spectrum of clinicians and scientists focused on pain.

The event program will include a large industry exhibition and plenary sessions, workshops, symposia and poster sessions covering all aspects of pain from bench-top to bed-side.

The IASP is the largest multidisciplinary association in the field of pain and the world’s leading forum for scientists, educators and clinicians. The association has more than 7,000 members in 130 countries, 90 national chapters, and 20 Special Interest Groups.
